Roger Caras said "Dogs are not our whole life but they make our lives whole." He was wrong. When you live with four, obedience train two, agility train two and co-own a dog boutique:(GollyGear); dogs are your life. And life is good.

Teddy - novice camper
We stole a great idea from our friend Brutus's blog and decided to take you all along as Teddy explored the campgrounds!
Just when he was sitting pretty to show off the sign and landscape, a big, friendly German Shepherd walked by and Teddy had to get up to say "Hello!" very, very loudly. We don't think the neighborhood really appreciated his greeting - it was about 7:30 a.m. on Sunday.
We were charmed by the care and creativity the seasonal and permanent residents show in their landscaping. Ted had to make sure the animals weren't real.
Especially the frogs. There is a weird affinity between French Bulldogs (Frog-dogs) and frogs.
Maybe it's because they wear the same expression.....
Teddy really wanted to check out the lake. Or maybe it was the fisherman's bait bucket.
Hope and Fran are sisters and owners of GollyGear - a shop specializing in fun, affordable, and practical products especially for small dogs.
We believe that dogs are wonderful companions and their presence enriches our lives. We also know how difficult it can be to find appropriate "gear" for our small dogs, which is why we founded Golly Gear. We make it a point to discover the best products for small dogs and share them with other, devoted dog lovers.
Fran has two dogs: Tango, a 4-year-old Brussels Griffon who got off to a bit of a rough start, but is rapidly becoming an amazingly wonderful companion, and Booker, a Boston Terrier puppy born in November of 2012. Hope has Dax, an eight-year old French Bulldog with Novice Agility and Novice Agility Jumper titles; Teddy a 3-year-old fawn Frenchie with attitude and Open Standard and Jumpers titles; and Roc, an 11-year-old Brussels Griffon, who decided to retire with Novice titles in Obedience and Rally and now proudly practices his couch-potato prowess.
Golly Gear is named for Fran's Brussels Griffon, Golly - who was a discriminating judge of all things dog throughout her life.
